WILL MY SITE BE VISIBLE ON IPADS, IPHONES & OTHER MOBILE DEVICES?

Yes.

HOW WILL MY GUESTS FIND MY WEDDING WEBSITE?

When you purchase your wedding website and select your preferred wedding website address, we secure your .com address within 24 hours to ensure it isn't taken by someone else. We also upload a Save The Date page which shows your names, wedding date, photo and says 'this site will be updated shortly with full details'. The Save The Date page is replaced with your real site when it is launched. Click here to view an example of our Save The Date page.

I ALREADY HAVE MY OWN DOMAIN NAME THAT I HAVE PURCHASED ELSEWHERE. CAN I STILL USE THIS DOMAIN NAME?

Yes no problem. You simply have to point your name servers to our server. This only takes a few minutes to do. We can do it for you or send you the instructions on how to set your name servers. We can also give you a $20 discount for having your own domain name.

DO I NEED MY OWN WEBSITE HOSTING ACCOUNT?

No. We have our own US dedicated server which allows for faster loading of your sites. We have full backup procedures in place.

HOW MANY PHOTOS CAN I POST ON MY WEDDING WEBSITE?

You can have as many photos as you like on each page of your site. You may wish to have 3 rotating pictures on your Welcome page and 10 scrolling photos on your Intro page for example. We don't count the number of pictures on your actual pages. The Photo Gallery albums may have a total of 80 pictures.

I DON'T HAVE AND DON'T WANT COUPLE PHOTOS ON MY SITE. CAN YOU STILL DESIGN A SITE FOR ME ?

Yes we can design your site with background photos rather than couple photos. Click here for an example of a site with no couple photos.

IN WHAT FORMAT DO MY PHOTOS NEED TO BE SAVED?

Your digital pictures need to be in JPEG format. The better the quality of the pictures, the nicer it will look on your site. We require the pictures to be at least 900x600 pixels. The larger the pictures the better as this will allow us to crop or zoom in if need be.

HOW DO I GET MY PICTURES ONTO MY WEBSITE?

We design the site for you so you just need to send us the pictures and your text. We have an online photo account where you can upload your pictures. We will send you instructions on how to do this. You will need to specify which photo you want us to use on each page of your site although you can leave the entire creative process to us if you wish. We will need the photos in jpeg format. We will then design the site for you.

WILL I HAVE THE ABILITY TO INCLUDE MY WEDDING AND HONEYMOON PHOTOS?

Yes we can add them as albums after your wedding. If you have exceeded your album allowance (80 pictures) then you can purchase additional album pages if you like. We charge $4 for each album page. If you'd prefer not to spend money then we can link to an external album like Flickr for your wedding and honeymoon pictures.

We can also replace the intro and homepage pictures with wedding pictures after you are married. There is no charge for this. The Welcome page can be changed to an Our Thanks page thanking your guests for coming to the wedding etc. Again, there is no charge for this.

CAN I REPLACE ANY OF THE PHOTOS I HAVE UPLOADED AT ANY TIME?

All edits are included in the package price. So if you don't like a picture we can swap it out for you. All communication is done by email so you can easily tell your designer what you want changed.

I HAVE SOME PHOTOS THAT NEED TO BE CROPPED, CAN THIS BE DONE?

Yes, this is part of our service to you. We do all photo enhancements, cropping, airbrushing for you.

CAN MY WEDDING WEBSITE BE PASSWORD PROTECTED?

Yes. We can add a username and passord to your site or to individual pages. We can also password-protect the details of a particular wedding event if you like. . You will have to communicate the username and password to your guests yourself. There is no extra charge for this.

WILL MY TRANSACTION BE SECURE?

WeddingOrg offers 100% secure transactions that keep your credit card and personal information completely secure. We use the PayPal system which is internationally recognized as a secure online transaction system.

Please note that you do not have to have a paypal account as you can simply pay by credit card or debit card instead. You can also pay by bank transfer if you are transferring from a UK or Hong Kong bank account.

WHAT IS YOUR PRIVACY POLICY?

We will never share your information with any third party.

CAN YOU BUILD A CUSTOM WEDDING WEBSITE FOR ME?

Your site will be totally customized to your every need. We usually show new clients some sites we've done recently so you can pick and choose which design aspects you like from these sites to create the site you need. For example, you may or may not want the sliding intro, or you may or may not want a video on your homepage.

We do not charge for minor customizations this includes incorporating your wedding colors into your wedding website. Backgrounds chosen to match your wedding colors for no extra charge. We choose a background we think blends in nicely with your photo the end result being a website that is totally unique. We can also design any page for you or change an existing page to suit your requirements for no extra charge. We provide unlimited support and unlimited updates.

CAN YOU TELL ME MORE ABOUT YOUR BILINGUAL WEDDING WEBSITES ?

We can design a bilingual site for you. There is an additional fee for this. This will allow your guests to view the site in English and whatever other language you choose.

Please contact us for examples of bilingual sites we've done in the past. We can also design non-English sites. For example we've just designed a Spanish and Portuguese wedding website. A wed site in 3 languages is also no problem.

I WOULD LIKE TO ORDER THE WEDDING PARTY PAGE BUT DOES THIS COUNT AS 1 PAGE OR 3 PAGES?

This counts as 1 page although it actually consists of 3 pages. The first page shows the bride & groom, the 2nd page and 3rd pages show the rest of the wedding party. We have various wedding party page designs - you can have just a write-up on each wedding party person, or a write-up and a photo, or just a photo of each wedding party person. We can even do bridal party slideshow.

I WOULD LIKE TO ORDER THE PAGES 'ABOUT THE BRIDE' AND 'ABOUT THE GROOM'. DOES THIS COUNT AS 1 PAGE OR 2 PAGES?

This counts as 1 page although it consists of 2 pages. The first page is 'About the Bride' and the 2nd page is 'About the Groom'.

I DO NOT HAVE ALL THE INFORMATION AVAILABLE TO COMPLETE MY SITE, CAN I STILL LAUNCH THE SITE AND GIVE YOU THE INFORMATION LATER?

Yes. We understand that you may not have all the information available to complete your site. We can always add missing information after your site is launched (when the info becomes available). We do advise however that we like to receive at least 80% of your information and pictures as we don't like your guests to be disappointed with lots of 'coming soon' messages. We like your guests to be blown away when they first see your site. If however, you urgently need to display certain information before your real site is designed, then we can add it to your Save The Date Page. For example, we can add the Travel Info & Accommodations page to your Save The Date Page if need be.

CAN I CHANGE THE ORDER OF THE PAGES?

Yes. You can have any menu order you like.

CAN I HAVE A DIFFERENT MENU TO THE TEMPLATE I WANT TO ORDER?

Yes. You can have a top menu, side menu or bottom menu.

CAN I USE A DIFFERENT FONT TO THE ONE ON THE TEMPLATE?

You can have any font color but we will be using the font that is on that template.

IF I PICK THE "WEDDING EVENTS" PAGE, DOES THAT COUNT AS 1 OR 5 PAGES?

The Wedding Events Page is only one page. You can have as many sub-pages or pop-up pages as you need. These are useful if you have lots of information you need to include on 1 page.

WHO CREATES MY WEBSITE? IS THIS A DO-IT-YOURSELF SERVICE?

Every part of your wedding web site is designed and created by our Website Designers. All you have to do is tell us what you want on your site and we do the rest. This is not a do-it-yourself site. You will be allocated your own personal designer.

WILL I HAVE ADVERTISING ON MY WEBSITE?

No. There will be no advertising at all on your website except a very small link to us at the bottom of the site.

CAN I MAKE CHANGES TO MY WEDDING WEBSITE WHENEVER I WANT?

Yes. All packages include unlimited updates and changes. You can tell us what edits you want when we show you the draft site. We can also make more edits at any time even after your site is launched. All communication regarding updates is done by email with your personal website designer.

HOW DO I MAKE CHANGES TO MY WEBSITE?

You can contact us at any time by email with your changes.

HOW DOES THE MUSIC WORK ON THE SITE?

Most of our templates have a choice of 3 of 4 songs, but you can replace these songs with your own songs (these should be emailed to us in mp3 format). It's no problem to remove the mp3player if you don't want music on your site. There's no limit to the number of songs you can have.

HOW WILL I KNOW WHEN I HAVE RECEIVED AN RSVP?

When a visitor to your website submits an RSVP form, you will automatically receive an email containing the information that your guest supplied in the RSVP form. The email contains all the details on the form - the name of the guest or guests, their email address and any comments, dietary or other requirements. It's no problem to change the fields on the rsvp form if you need more information from your guests.

You will be given a username and password to log into your admin area. This will allow you to view all your rsvp entries.

HOW DOES THE GUESTBOOK WORK?

When a visitor to your website enters a message into the guest book, the message gets posted to the website so that all future visitors can see the message. You will automatically receive an email containing the information your visitor entered in the guest book as well as the date and time the message was posted.

You will be given a username and password to log into your admin area. This will allow you to modify and delete any guestbook entries.

ON MY WEBSITE, CAN I LIST THE ONLINE BRIDAL REGISTRIES THAT I ALREADY HAVE SET UP AND WILL I BE ABLE TO LINK TO THEM?

Definitely. You may display any information you like for your store registry(s) including links to the store website.

I HAVE PLACED MY ORDER AND PAID FOR MY SITE BUT HAVE CHANGED MY MIND ABOUT WHICH PAGES I WANT FOR MY SITE. IS IT POSSIBLE TO CHOOSE DIFFERENT PAGES?

Yes as long as we have not started working on your site. It's no problem to add more pages or choose different pages after you've ordered - we can adjust the price if need be.

I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO WRITE IN SOME OF MY PAGES, CAN YOU GIVE ME SOME TIPS?

Yes. Just let us know which pages you need help with and we can provide you with some suggestions and ideas.

HOW DOES THE FREE WEDDING WEBSITE WORK ?

Please email the following to info@weddingorg.com: brides name, grooms name, wedding date, photo and 3 short sentences welcoming your guest to the site. We will then send you a link to view your free site.

HOW MUCH DOES A WEDDING WEBSITE COST?

The cost depends on which Package you select.

- Premium Package 1: 8 pages costs $390 USD
- Premium Package 2: 10 pages costs $410 USD
- Premium Package 3: 12 pages costs $430 USD

CAN I PAY OVER 4 MONTHS?

Yes. We will send you a link to pay each month. We can start working on your site as soon as we have received your first instalment. The rest of the payments can be made after the site is launched. We require full payment 1 month before your wedding date. We are not very strict about when we receive your payments as long as we receive full payment one month before your wedding date. We will send you a Paypal request for payment by email each month.

ARE THERE ANY ADDITIONAL HIDDEN COSTS?

No. There are absolutely no fees other than the quoted price. If however, you have used your album allowance and would like to add more album pages then we charge $4 for each page of 8 photos. If you'd prefer to save money then we can link to an external album like Kodak for the rest of your album photos.

WHAT FORM OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?

Payment can be made by credit card or PayPal. PayPal accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. Please note that you do not have to have a paypal account.

Payment can be made over 4 months if required. Simply order your website from the Order Page and you will be asked if you'd like to pay in full or over 4 months.

HOW DO I PURCHASE AND PAY FOR MY WEDDING WEBSITE?

WHAT IF FOR SOME REASON I'M NOT HAPPY WITH THE WEBSITE?

We want you to be really happy with your site! If for some reason you are dissatisfied then we will give you a 100% refund. We have never had anyone ask for a refund - everyone loves their site!

CAN I BUY THE PACKAGE WITH 8 PAGES AND PURCHASE AN EXTRA PAGE AT A LATER STAGE?

Yes. Order the Premium 1 Package online and if you decide you'd like more pages later we can adjust the total cost of the site and arrange for the balance to be paid at a later date.

HOW MUCH TIME DOES IT TAKE TO CREATE MY WEDDING WEBSITE?

Most websites can be ready within 3-5 working days of receiving your photos. If you need your site sooner, we will try our best to accommodate you depending on our schedule. We will show you a draft version of the site (for your eyes only) and you can then let us know what updates or edits you'd like before we launch your site.

DO YOU PROVIDE A CD OR DVD?

We can provide you with a copy of your site free of charge. We don't charge because we simply copy the files to cd and post it to you without a fancy cover. If however you'd like your site in movie format then we charge $60. Alternatively you may prefer to pay $45 a year to keep your site up. This cost is included in your package price for the first year but the renewal fee is due after one year. If you wish to continue viewing your site online after your domain name or website address has expired, then we can upload your site to a weddingorg folder where you can view it online free of charge.

I HAVE PLACED MY ORDER AND PAID FOR MY SITE BUT HAVE CHANGED MY MIND ABOUT WHICH TEMPLATE I WANT. CAN I CHANGE TO A DIFFERENT TEMPLATE?

Yes as long as we have not started working on your site.

HOW LONG WILL MY WEBSITE BE UP FOR?

Your website will be active for 12 months. If you need it to be longer, just let us know and you can purchase your domain name for another year. We only charge $45 to host your site for another year. We will contact you 6 weeks before your domain name expires.

IF I EXPERIENCE ANY PROBLEMS, HOW DO I GET HELP?

You can contact us at any time by email and we will do our best to get back to you immediately. We also have a support telephone number if you need to speak to us by phone. If you can't get hold of us by phone them please send us an email with your telephone number and I promise to call you back.

DO I HAVE TO LIVE IN THE UNITED KINGDOM TO USE YOUR SERVICES?

No. You can purchase and use your Wedding Website from anywhere in the world. Most of our orders are from the US. We now have offices in Hong Kong and United Kingdom. We are a small dedicated team of designers.
